Bangkok. The last day. FINALLY

Its been about a month since my last post. So I might as well just get to it. I LAZY WRITE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN BANGKOK ON LAST DAY SO PLS ENJOY THE PICTURES

IMG_9610IMG_9619IMG_9620IMG_9624IMG_9629In retrospect, I don’t really miss my hair.

IMG_9633IMG_9639IMG_9642IMG_9643     Mum nagged at me while I was snapping away – she couldn’t tell what I was doing, pointing my camera at bars.

IMG_9644IMG_9645IMG_9651 IMG_9665IMG_9684IMG_9690 IMG_9691 IMG_9697IMG_9718IMG_9733IMG_9739IMG_9741 IMG_9743 Tasted like home.

IMG_9748IMG_9749 IMG_9746IMG_9747  Had our last taste of the sweet-savour mini-apoms. I still have no idea what they’re called.

IMG_9750 Last looks at the hotel. Won’t miss it.

IMG_9752 Hopped in the van, slept all the way to the airport

IMG_9754IMG_9755IMG_9756 Last looks at the airport. There’s always this nostalgic feeling I get when I go to airports, whether I’m leaving a country, watching people leave, arrive, say goodbye, etc. etc. Sometimes its worthwhile just to stop and take it all in while you still can.

More to update on. =DIMG_9764Here’s looking at you, Thailand.

Bangkok day 2

Its been a long time coming, but I finally got my lazy ass off the couch and my hands off the PS3 controller and updated on this post, before I lock away the pics in MA VAULT.

IMG_9091 The day started with a pickup from the hotel, and pickups of other tourists from other hotels. It was basically pretty quiet in the van for the 1 and a half hours it took us to reach our first stop: The Floating Market. Seeing as how boring it was with everyone so quiet in the car, I took a few shots on the way.

Take one.

And here comes a point in time where I get so damn lazy to explain what was happening, so I’m just going to say where the photos were taken. Less reading involved =DIMG_9102IMG_9103 On the way to the floating market

IMG_9106IMG_9109IMG_9110IMG_9111IMG_9112IMG_9115IMG_9123IMG_9126Reached the floating market

IMG_9127IMG_9130IMG_9132IMG_9148 IMG_9152IMG_9167IMG_9169IMG_9172IMG_9175IMG_9180IMG_9183 To sum up the floating market – cool in a floating market kinda way, water smells like shit and looks worse than it smells, would like going there again, but with someone who speaks Thai. Btw, almost everything in Thailand seems to taste good.

And I sorta forgot where I went after that. But it involved snakes and wood carvings.IMG_9210IMG_9218IMG_9220IMG_9221IMG_9224IMG_9228IMG_9231IMG_9232IMG_9233 Even the caplang buffet food there tasted awesome.IMG_9235IMG_9234 TOM YUM.

IMG_9240 No shit.

IMG_9241IMG_9245IMG_9247IMG_9248IMG_9259IMG_9283IMG_9286 IMG_9294IMG_9468IMG_9472IMG_9475IMG_9484IMG_9493IMG_9496IMG_9503IMG_9504IMG_9506         That’s the restaurant manager in the middle. And he’s in his early 30s. DAMN

IMG_9507 This sauce, paired withIMG_9509 THIS FISH. AWESOME. I have never loved fish like that so much before.
